FIVE QUESTIONS FOR JANET ANARCHY

1. What book are you reading right now?
Please Kill Me (The Uncensored Oral History of Punk) by Legs McNeil & Gillian McCain

2. If you had a month to live, how would you spend it?
I would take my brother to Berlin, Barcelona, and Rome and go to concerts every day. Spend the rest of the time with my friends and family, listening to live music and expanding my beer horizons beyond Franziskaner and PBR.

3. What are your favorite song lyrics?
"Destruction of a person builds character" Superjoint Ritual

"I wasn't born with enough middle fingers" Marilyn Manson

"I remember when all the games began, remember every little lie and every last goodbye, promises you broke, words you choked on and I never walked away. It's still a mystery to me.' 5 Finger Death Punch

4. Sitting where you are, what three things can you grab right now?
My music, my ass, sugar free Red Bull

5. One guy, one girl, one band, one movie, one monster:
Hank III • Chrissie Hynde • Alice In Chains • U-Turn • The Abominable Snowman (from Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer)

Styling Tips
”If you want to look like you just rolled out of bed, but in a good way, use Paul Mitchell Lab Paste and texturize with your hands and never with a brush or comb. It adds just enough texture and doesn't weigh down your hair, even after going a couple of days without shampooing (which we never recommend, of course, because we want you to buy Paul Mitchell shampoo)!”

“How much should I tip my stylist? It’s entirely your choice whether to tip, but most clients tip as if at a restaurant - based on service. No matter the amount, it is always appreciated.”

I got into the hair business five years ago after I was inspired by the artistic team at a Paul Mitchell hair show, and I can’t imagine ever going back to my original careers in construction, architecture, and the culinary arts.  I love having the freedom to be myself, and I strive to create a fun, relaxing, yet professional salon atmosphere.  Even though I can't cut your hair, I will get you with the right stylist who will work with your lifestyle and specific hair needs. The thing I enjoy most about the salon is the chance to meet you, all the cool people that come in.  I’m really excited about this year, and I hope you will become a part of the Bang culture.
